Traditional detox programs can be harsh, isolating, and sometimes even retraumatizing. Unfortunately this style of program leaves many with PTSD and the fear of going through withdrawal again keeps people in a feedback loop that seems to last forever. Many people have expressed to us that it has been implied that they are weak, have no self control, made to be forever dependent on medication assisted therapy (MAT) as if that is the only choice. • Have hemophilia or are taking blood-thinning medication
• Are pregnant (note: the therapy is FDA-approved for post-cesarean pain management but not for use during pregnancy)
